When it’s time to get dressed up you want to look your best. If your shoes could use a bit of shining check out this post on How to Polish Your Shoes Naturally! Believe me, it’s a simple trick!
If your shoes are drab and dull you can shine them up in a matter of minutes. The best part about this neat trick is it is very frugal because you won’t pay more than $0.20 (the cost of a single banana). Compare that price to a bottle of shoe polish and you are saving a good chunk of change!
How to Polish Your Shoes Naturally:
What you will need:
- Your dress shoes
- A banana peel
- Eat the banana (if you wish) and keep the peel.
- Rub the inside of the banana peel all across your shoes.
- Take a clean, soft cloth and rub in the banana goo, wiping off any chunks.
- You are now left with shiny shoes! (They also smell pretty good too)
Why does this work? It’s simple, the banana peel contains potassium which is a key ingredient in shoe polish. The potassium helps keep the shoes shiny and looking new.
