Halloween is nearing, and that is the perfect excuse to make all things sweet! But don’t go anywhere just yet! give these Reese’s Pieces Cupcakes with Chocolate Peanut Butter Ganache a try!
Now, I know there are a lot of peanut allergies on there these days (including my youngest son). So, instead of using Reese’s Pieces you can use regular M&M’s and swap out the peanut butter for sunflower butter.

How to Make Reese’s Pieces Cupcakes with Chocolate Peanut Butter Ganache:
How to Make the Cupcakes:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line muffin tin with 24 cupcake liners and set aside.
- In a large bowl, add cake mix, eggs, oil, milk, plain Greek yogurt and vanilla extract and stir to combine. Add 1 cup Reese’s Pieces and mix to incorporate into the batter.
- Fill each cupcake liner ¾ full with prepared cake mix. Bake for 15-20 minutes (or until inserted toothpick comes out clean), then set aside to cool completely.
How to Make The Peanut Butter Frosting:
- Place peanut butter and softened butter in a mixing bowl and beat until smooth.

It should be a thick consistency, but still smooth enough to pipe onto a cupcake. Frost cupcakes and set aside.
