The summer heat used to be one the main reasons I despised cooking. But thanks to my Ninja Cooking System, I can cook homemade meals without heating up my home. Yesterday I made this 3-Ingredient Cheddar Cream of Mushroom Chicken and it is SO GOOD!
As the name suggests, it is only 3 ingredients which means it’s super easy to make!
This recipe is one of those “put it in the crockpot and forget it” type.
Nights when you are super busy, kids have loads of homework or where you just don’t feel like cooking, this is the recipe for you.
What You Need to Make 3-Ingredient Cheddar Cream of Mushroom Chicken:
- Ninja 3-in-1 Cooking System (or a crockpot will do just fine)
- 1 Can of Family Size Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 Can of French’s Cheddar French Fried Onions
- 2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
How to Make Cheddar Cream of Mushroom Chicken:
Preheat your Ninja cooking system. I set mine to oven bake at 275 degrees. Adjust this temperature based on the amount of time you want to cook.
Place your chicken breasts into the pan spread evenly apart.
Pour the entire can of cream of mushroom soup on top of the chicken. Allow to cook for several hours (with the Ninja cooking system it cooks much faster at a lower heat then with a slow cooker).
During the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the tops of the chicken with the cheddar french fried onions and allow to cook until finished.
Serve with a side of vegetables or rice and enjoy!
