If you’ve ever had bad luck (and it seems like everyone has in 2018) you’ve probably heard the saying “What Goes Around Comes Around”. It’s the universe’s way of telling you that you deserved it for a bad choice you made at another time in life.
While none of us are perfect, I am firm believer that the choices we make everyday effect us one way or another in our lives. That is why today I want to share with you 5 Ways to Promote Good Karma. By doing so, I hope this will bring you good luck in your own life and help you spread that around to others too.
5 Ways to Promote Good Karma
Love others
Love is a selfless act where you open your heart and allow someone else to come in. It’s up to them whether or not they break it but you have done the best deed of all by trusting someone else to be close to you. Loving others is a fantastic way to spread good karma and happiness.
Give Kindness and Compassion
Kindness and Compassion again are selfless acts. You do good and give good just because that is what you do and who you are. Every day so many people give to those that are less fortunate than them even if it’s a random wave, a smile, or a hug. Giving can even be to those that are more fortunate than you. It shows your care for another human being just for them being another human being. You give and I believe you will get back.
Show Respect
While you may think this ties into number 2, respect truly comes on so many different levels. Learning to respect others is one thing, but learning to respect yourself is another. Remember that treating others (including respecting them) how you want to be treated is the best medicine for karma.
Own Your Weakness
Everyone has a weakness and many of those weaknesses are also our mistakes. As human beings, we have to recognize the difference between what is right and what is wrong, what is our strengths and what is our weakness and of course, know our mistakes so we can correct them. Correcting our mistakes makes us better people and helps bring good karma to us and to others.
Hand Out Karma Everywhere
You might be thinking how can I do that if I don’t even have good karma to give? Well, it can start with a nice gesture. Maybe someone is having a bad day and you can cheer them up. Do something nice for someone. Give to someone in need. All of these can be great ways to spread good karma and in hopes, bring you some as well!
