What can I use instead of the fireball whiskey?

You can switch out the fireball whiskey for apple whiskey, caramel vodka, apple vodka, crown royal apple, apple schnapps, or even hard cider.

How far in advance can I make these?

You can make these 24-48 hours in advance. However, I’d add the whipped cream right before serving.

How to Make Apple Cider Jello Shots with Fireball Whiskey

Place 16 (2 oz.) plastic cups onto a baking sheet. Set aside.

In a medium saucepan, add 2 cups of apple cider, and sprinkle over Knox gelatin. Whisk together until gelatin is incorporated, and then heat over medium heat until just steamy.

Remove from the heat and whisk in 1 cup cold apple cider and 1 cup Fireball. Stir until well combined.

Fill the 2 oz. cups with the apple cider jello mixture, then move them to the refrigerator to chill for at least 4 hours.

Before serving, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

  • 2 packets of Knox unflavored gelatin
  • 3 cups apple cider
  • 1 cup Fireball whiskey
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Ground cinnamon for topping

Instructions
