How far in advance can I make these?

I would make these right before serving so they are nice and warm.

Can I use any bacon?

Yes! You can use any bacon you’d like. I do suggest pre-cooking the bacon but not to a complete crisp so it’s still easy to wrap around the hot dog.

Can I use any hot dogs?

Yes! You can use any hot dog or sausage you’d like. If you are trying to use a healthier option, you can use turkey hot dogs and even turkey bacon.

How can I keep these warm when serving?

My best suggestion is to serve these right after baking them but you can keep these warm in an aluminum pan with one of those heat flames under it if needed.

How do I bake these in the oven?

You can bake these at 350 F for 10 minutes in the oven. Just keep an eye on them to ensure they don’t burn.

When hot dogs are cooked, leave them to cool off in the air fryer or remove them from the air fryer and place on a rack to cool a bit, add two candy eyes to each hot dog, carefully tucking them under and around the crescent roll dough.
