Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use butter instead of mayo?
Yes! You can use butter on the outside of the bread instead of mayo. However, if you’ve never tried it with mayo, you should at least once.
What other type of cheese can I use?
Aside from gruyere cheese, I like to use brie cheese. You can find sliced brie cheese at your local deli or even use the spreadable kind. You can also use provolone or swiss but I prefer brie or gruyere myself.
