I am loving layered cocktails lately. Aside from tasting amazing, they are gorgeous and almost too pretty to drink.

While they may seem overly complicated to make, they actually aren’t especially if you use the drink layering tool I use.

So, if you’re looking for a cocktail that’ll be the talk of the party, this is it!

How do you layer a drink successfully?

The secret to layering drinks successfully relies on two things:

  1. Starting with the heaviest liquid in the drink—or the liquid with the most sugar content. That gets poured as the first layer into the glass.
  2. A drink layering tool. Trust me, this is entirely worth the money! You can also use the upside down spoon trick but I really think this drink layering tool is a total game changer!

How to Make A Bomb Pop Cocktail

Directions:

Begin with a small pitcher or shaker and add gatorade, vanilla syrup, and blue food coloring together and stir.

Add 3 ice cubes to glass and slowly pour blue layer in glass first.

Next place drink mixing tool on the top of your glass, slowly lower the bobber and let it float on top of the blue layer.

Open lemon lime ICE and pour into the cup of mixing tool, allowing it to slowly seep on top of the blue layer.

Next add vodka and red food coloring, mix, and slowly pour into the cup of using the mixing tool. Add a straw and enjoy!
