How to Keep Apples from Browning
Apples turn brown quickly after cutting so, if you want to try to prevent this, you can soak sliced apples in lime or lemon juice for 1-2 minutes. You can also squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top of the apples, allow to dry and then add your toppings.
Since this method may only work temporarily, I recommend slicing your apples and preparing your caramel apple nachos right before serving.
