Champagne Jello Shots
Jello Shots are so fun to make and they are always a hit at any party, bbq or celebration. Plus, they are so easy to make!
I’ve made all sorts of tasty jello shots such as my famous Tequila Lime Jello Shots, Pokemon Jello Shots, Eyeball Jello Shots for Halloween and even my Christmas themed Grinch Jello Shots.
The hardest part is trying to keep my husband from devouring all of them before a party! Ha!
So, if you need a tasty and easy jello shot recipe, this is it!
Jello Shot Tips:
- Arrange shot glasses onto a tray or baking sheet that is covered in foil for easy clean up.
- Avoid getting the jello mixture onto the baking sheet before refrigerating or your jello shots will stick to the tray.
- These can be made ahead of time just store them in the fridge.
- You can substitute the water for more grape juice or champagne if you’d like.
- These do contain alcohol so keep kids away from them.
What You Need to Make Champagne Jello Shots
This recipe will make about 20 – 1 oz. jello shots
- White Grape Juice – I like the Welch’s brand
- Water
- Unflavored Gelatin – You need this in order to turn these into Jello shots. I like the Knox brand.
- Champagne – The cheaper champagne works just fine. I used the Cook’s Brut
- Sprinkles or Sanding Sugar For Topping (optional)
- Small Plastic Shot Glasses or Plastic Cup – I used the small 1 ounce plastic shot glasses from Dollar Tree
How to Make Champagne Jello Shots
Start by placing your white grape juice and water into a saucepan.
Carefully pour the gelatin mix over the top and allow to sit for 2-3 minutes. You’ll notice the gelatin will start dissolving and will make the top look wrinkly.
After about 5 minutes, place the saucepan onto a stovetop over medium heat. Heat the mixture until all of the gelatin is dissolved but do not boil the mixture.
Remove from heat and stir in the Champagne.
Arrange the shot glasses onto a baking sheet covered with tin foil. This helps transfer the shot glasses to the fridge and makes cleaning up so much easier.
Fill the shot glasses until they are full. I found use a turkey baster made this so much easier and caused less of a mess.
Place into the refrigerator for 1-3 hours or until the jello shots are set and firm.
Remove from the fridge and sprinkle on some sanding sugar or sprinkles.
Serve right away and enjoy!
