No Bake Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake Shooters

Sometimes you want something fruity and sweet. Chocolate is always a great option and strawberry is definitely it’s sweet sidekick. When those 2 combine, everyone better watch out because your tastebuds are going to explode! Today mine did just that when I partnered up with Daiya Foods to make these No Bake Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake Shooters.

Oh my, word…really, it’s hard to describe how good these are in one word so I am going to let you make them and try to find that “word” for yourself!

What You Will Need to Make No Bake Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake Shooters:

  • Daiya Strawberry Cheezecake
  • 16 oz. Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
  • 3 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder (I used Hershey’s Dark Chocolate)
  • 15 Oreo’s, crushed
  • Fresh Strawberries (optional, for garnish)
  • Tall Shotglasses (I used glass)
  • Blender
  • Stand or Handmixer

How to Make No Bake Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake Shooters:

To start making these delectable treats, you want to pull out your blender or food processor. Place about 15 Oreo cookies into it and blend until you get some fine crumbs. Note: Before you start making these at all, you need to allow your Daiya Strawberry Cheezecake to thaw. Follow the directions on the box to do so.chocolate strawberry cheesecake shooters step1

Remove the crushed Oreos from your blender and place into a bowl. Set it aside. Yes, you can totally snack as you continue to the next step! 😉

Using your Stand Mixer (or handmixer), whip the heavy whipping cream until it starts to thicken (about 3 minutes). It’s kind of neat to watch how quickly a liquid starts to become a solid.chocolate strawberry cheesecake shooters step3

Once the cream starts to thicken, add the vanilla, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder. You should mix this until it starts to get nice and fluffy. You want to be careful not to overmix or it will become too thick. If you do, you can add some more whipping cream to thin it out.

Note: If you are lactose intolerant, you can skip the heavy whipping cream for a truly dairy-free treat. Just layer the cookies and cheesecake instead!

Now that your chocolate whip is done, set it aside and move onto the next step.

Grab your tall shot glasses and you are going to start to assemble the layers of the cheesecake treat. Start by placing a thin layer of the Oreo crumble into the bottom. I used a teaspoon spoon to put it into the bottom.

Next add a layer of the Daiya Strawberry Cheesecake. I again used a Tablespoon to scoop it into the shot glasses. If it it easier, you can also place the cheesecake into a large piping bag and pipe it into the glass.

Add the chocolate whip layer. The easier way I found was to place the chocolate whip into a piping bag and squeeze it into the glass.

The last thing to do is to add another layer of the strawberry cheesecake. Then top with a fresh strawberry, chocolate whip, and sprinkle on some crushed Oreos.

These are OH SO GOOD!

I am thinking they would make a perfect and elegant treat for New Year’s eve parties. Plus it’s no bake which means no need to overly heat the house or dirty up a ton of dishes. You can truly make a ton of these fairly quickly.

I also love that they are made for individual enjoyment. In the new year I plan to eat healthier and lose weight. Treats like these can help limit the amount of sweets I eat. Total WIN!
