Chocolate has been on my mind a lot lately which is why I have started a series of homemade chocolate beauty products. Doesn’t that just sound yummy? I think so! So if you love Chocolate as much as I do (and I know you do) then you are going to love this recipe for DIY Chocolate Bath Salts!

CHOCOLATE BATH SALTS

After a long week nothing is better than a little bit of alone time and a nice hot bath. Okay, maybe it can be a little better if you have some amazing Chocolate Bath Salts to complete your bath.

Bath salts help smooth and soften your skin because they are absorbed and purify your skin. They also help soothe tired and sore muscles making them perfect for stressful days. The cocoa in this recipe contains antioxidants that help tighten your skin. So you can imagine how amazing your skin will feel after using bath salts!

What You Will Need to Make Chocolate Bath Salts:

  • 1/2 Cup Epson Salt
  • 1 tbsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (I recommend the Organic kind)
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Jar or Container

How to Make Chocolate Bath Salts:

Start by combining your epson salt and baking soda into a mixing bowl and blend well. If you do want a little more fragrance you can use an essential or fragrance oil. You will add it during this step. Try thinking of great scents that go with chocolate like strawberry, cherry, etc.

Next, add your cocoa powder to the mixture and mix until all the cocoa is blended well.
