How to Make Air Fryer Canned Biscuit Donuts:

Start by opening your canned biscuits and separate each biscuit. I laid mine flat on my silicone baking mat.

Next, cut out the inside of the biscuit. This turns biscuits into donuts and make sure you set the dough from the centers aside (these will make great donut holes).

Next, spray the wire racks of your air fryer using a non-stick cooking spray. Spray really good to prevent the donuts from sticking.

Next, place the donuts onto the racks ensuring the donuts don’t touch and stick inside your air fryer. You can also stick the inside of the donut holes onto the trays as well.

Cook them in your air fryer at 360 degrees for about 3 minutes. Once the 3 minutes is up, flip the donut over and cook for an additional 3 minutes.

Once cooked, remove from the air fryer and allow to cool for a minute or two before touching.

In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together and set aside.

Next, melt the butter in your microwave.

Using your pastry brush, dip it into the melted butter then apply it to the top of the donut.

Take the donut and dip it into the sugar/cinnamon mixture until it it entirely covered.

This is the EASIEST way to make delicious homemade donuts that your kids can help make.

Notes:

  • Type of biscuits: If you can’t find the Pillsbury Grands Flaky Biscuits, the regular Pillsbury Grands Biscuits will work just fine.
  • Donut Toppings: You can make any topping mixture you want. For example, melted chocolate, sprinkles, etc.
  • Reheating the donuts: You can warm up the donuts by placing in the microwave for 5-10 seconds.
  • Storing leftovers: Store any leftovers in an airtight container or Ziploc bag.

If your lacking a pastry cutter small enough you can use a bottle cap from your last drink. That’s how we did it when I was little.
