Easy Crockpot Chili

I love easy recipes because they can be made with little effort at all. This Easy Crockpot Chili Recipe can be thrown together in just a few minutes and be of all, it’s delicious!

Chili is one of my favorite foods because it is so simple to make. Just throw all your ingredients in your crockpot in the morning and by dinner your meal is ready! You can make a nice big pot of chili and serve it up to your guests at parties and events. I personally love to eat mine out of a bread bowl and I highly recommend you give it a try!

You can make this chili 1 of 2 ways. First you can purchase canned beans (like I did) or you can opt to cook your own beans in a pressure cooker. I personally liked the convenience of canned beans as I could instantly throw everything in my Ninja cooking system and let it slow cook all day.

And you want thicker chili, here’s tips on how to thicken chili. And if you’re looking for a vegetarian option, try this slow cooker vegetarian chili recipe.

What You Will Need to Make Easy Crockpot Chili:

  • 4 cans of pinto beans
  • 4 cans of dark red kidney beans
  • 4 cans of light red kidney beans
  • 1 pound of hamburger meat (if you are watching your calorie intake you can also use turkey meat like I did)
  • 1 white onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, diced
  • 1 tablespoon California chili powder
  • 2 Packages of mild chili mix
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • A Crockpot (I used my Ninja 3-in-1 Cooking System)

How to Make Easy Crockpot Chili:

Brown the meat in a large skillet until thoroughly cooked. If you are using a meat with high-fat content then make sure you drain the fat prior to placing it into your crockpot.

Next, dice the bell peppers, tomato, onion, and jalapeño and place into your crockpot.

Add the cooked meat along with the canned beans into the crockpot and mix well.

Add garlic salt and chili powder and continue to mix.

Cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low for 4-6 hours. Stirring occasionally. If you are using a Ninja cooking system (like I did) it truly only takes about an hour on “stovetop high” to get it boiling and hot enough to eat.

There you have it! An Easy Crockpot Chili recipe. You can garnish it with a bit of shredded cheese and green onion to add to the overall taste. I serve mine up with some delicious Hawaiian Sweet Rolls and it’s tasty!
