I think it’s safe to say that you either love or hate Eggnog, there doesn’t seem to ever be an in-between.

With that being said, if you are someone that loves the flavor of Eggnog, you will love these Eggnog Cookies.

Eggnog Cookies Ingredients

You will need:

  • Flour
  • Baking Soda
  • Salt
  • Butter – softened
  • Sugar
  • Brown Sugar
  • Vanilla
  • Eggs
  • Egg Nog
  • Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg
  • Vanilla Frosting

How to Make Eggnog Cookies

In the mixing bowl of a stand mixer, add the Butter, Sugar, Brown Sugar, Vanilla, and Egg Nog and Eggs, and mix until smooth and creamy.

In a separate bowl, add the Flour, Baking Soda, Salt, Cinnamon and Nutmeg, and stir well. 

Add the Flour mixture to the Mixing bowl, a little at a time, and mix between additions.  Scrape down the sides of the bowl, and mix on medium speed to blend well.

Place the mixing bowl in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to chill the dough. 

Line 2 Cookie Sheets with Parchment paper, and drop the cookie dough by scoops (From a Cookie Scoop) onto the Parchment paper.  

Bake at 350, for 10 to 12 minutes, or until cookies are golden brown. 

Remove the cookies to a wire rack to cool. 

When Cookies are cool, frost with the Vanilla Frosting, and sprinkle a little Cinnamon on top of the Frosting. 

Serve and Enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ½ cups of Flour
  • 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup of Butter – softened

  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla
