If you are a fan of the Fallout video games and new Amazon series, you are going to love these DIY Fallout Nuka Cola drinks you can make at home!
Nuka Cola Is A Must-Have In A Post-War World
Nuka-Cola is the most popular American soda before the war and there were so many bottles manufactured, that the drink can still be found and enjoyed more than 200 years later! At least according to the games that is.
In reality, we are just using regular Coca-Cola glass bottles and some cool printable labels to make these Nuka Cola bottles but these turned out so cool and look so authentic.
When my son decided he wanted a Fallout party for his 14th birthday, my husband and I searched high and low for Fallout party ideas and couldn’t find anything. So, we made our own.
I am sharing this super easy tutorial on how to make your own Fallout Nuka Cola drinks for your next party. I am sure they’ll be a huge hit with all your fellow vault dwellers!
Why You’ll Love This DIY
- It is easy to make – It’s as simple as printing some labels and gluing them to some Coca-Cola glass bottles!
- It is perfect for Fallout Fans – If you are looking for some Fallout Party ideas or even a gift for a Fallout fan, this would be perfect!
What You Need to Make Nuka Cola Bottles
- Glass Coca-Cola Bottles – I found these in a large pack at Sam’s Club for around $30. While you can use the plastic bottles of Coke, I find the glass bottles to look the most authentic.
- Nuka Cola Label – I purchased these labels from Etsy and they worked perfectly. Pro tip: Send them to be printed at FedEx Kinkos and print them on the Glossy 32 lb. paper. Trust me!
- Modge Podge Matte– I like this because it dries clear and held the labels well to the glass bottles.
- Paint Brush – This will paint the glue onto the labels
- Scissors
Helpful Tips
- You can make these in advance and allow them to dry for several days before serving or gifting.
- Keep the labels away from water (do not place them into a cooler).
- I recommend storing these in the fridge to cool then if you want, place ice into a shallow baking pan or aluminum foil pan and stick the drinks into the ice upright (keeping the label away from the ice or water to prevent warping).
