How to Find LuLaRoe Unicorns
If you’ve stumbled upon this post, chances are you are searching high and low for your LuLaRoe unicorns! And yes, I said unicorns because nobody has just one unicorn, right?
What is a LuLaRoe Unicorn?
Before we can talk about how to find LuLaRoe Unicorns, we have to understand exactly what a “unicorn” is. The thing is, a unicorn is different for everyone! My unicorn is probably not your unicorn. When someone sees a print they absolutely love and cannot live without, it’s an awesome thing. However, if the item has already sold, that now becomes their unicorn because they’re going to search high and low to find another just like it.
LuLaRoe makes 2,000 or so of each print, and not all of those will be leggings. So you might have a Carly with the same print as a pair of TC leggings, but you aren’t going to see 2,000 leggings with the same print.
Unicorns aren’t just leggings! It’s a print and style – so your unicorn might be a solar system Irma. I don’t know if that even exists, but you get the point! 🙂
Ways to Find LuLaRoe Unicorns
There’s no easy way to find your unicorn unless you happen upon it by accident or luck, but there are a few things you can do to make it more likely that you’ll find yours!
Join all the groups! Joining as many groups as possible is the most obvious way to find your unicorn, but your notifications are going to blow up. Considering you might not find your unicorn(s) for a while, this could end up being more work than it’s worth.
Then again, how badly do you want that unicorn?
Post in ISO threads. Many groups have what is called a “unicorn thread” or “ISO thread”. ISO stands for “in search of”. This is where you can post a photo of your unicorn and ask for a certain color way, size and style of that particular print. Typically, if a retailer has that item, they will contact you or another member of that same group might. It could help you get lucky and find your unicorn.
Recruit friends! If you’re obsessed with LuLaRoe, chances are your friends are, too. Start a small group chat for you and a handful of friends to share unicorns back and forth. You might not find your own but you could find your friend’s unicorn. Hopefully they will be able to return the favor.
If your small group of friends grows to a larger group, you might want to start an actual group on Facebook so it’s easier to keep track of everything. Group chats move rather quickly and can get overwhelming if you add more than 3 or 4 people.
Hire a Unicorn Wrangler! Some “Unicorn Wranglers” work for free and will find what you’re looking for just because you’re in their group and shopping with them. Others charge a “finder’s fee” of $5 or so. I’m not completely confident that this type of service is on the up and up with LuLaRoe, so I can’t recommend going this route but it is a popular one.
Become a Hostess
Becoming a hostess and getting in good with LuLaRoe retailers is a great way to set your eyes on unicorns first! If you love free LuLaRoe, you’ll love being a hostess.
