We are busy making Fornite themed crafts and recipes in our home and the next stop on the boogie bomb train is this Fortnite Shield Potion Necklace!
Yes, I realize that the boogie bomb is not part of a train, it was the best I could come up with, okay? 😉
What is the Fortnite Shield Potion you ask?
Shield Potion is a Rare consumable healing item in Battle Royale, which can be used to increase the player’s current shield by 50 Shield points, up to a maximum of 100 Shield points after consuming two potions. Shield Potions, despite falling under the rarity Rare, can be found relatively frequently.
Now that you know, your kiddos will love making this necklace. It will make them feel like they have increased their current shield level and they’ll be ready to take on the day!
Fortnite Shield Potion Necklace
What you’ll need to make this shield potion necklace:
- Mini Glass or Plastic Vial (the kind with the cork lid)
- 7/64″ Stainless Steel Screw Eye Ring
- Fortnite Slime (check out our recipe for the slime here)
- String or a Necklace Chain (we used baker’s twine)
- Hot Glue Gun
How to make a shield potion necklace:
First start by making your slime. You want 2 different colors of blue. If you look at the picture of a shield potion (below) you’ll notice it has a lighter and darker blue color.
Follow the directions in our slime post here but instead of making the green slime, you’ll make a lighter blue color.
Once your slime is made, start by placing a small amount of slime into your mini vial. If you need to smash it down, use the end of a pen or a slim object to pack it in. 
Once your slime is added, hot glue the cork top onto the vial. You want to make sure this is sealed shut.
Now carefully screw the eye ring into the top of the cork (try to center this as best you can).
Finally, add your chain or string and you now have a Fortnite Shield Potion necklace!
These are great for making for party favors and can even be a fun DIY craft/activity to do at a Fortnite themed birthday party.
