Fuzzy Navel Jello Shots are the boozy treat to make for your next party. They require just 5 ingredients!
Fuzzy Navel Jello Shots
Summer and fruity, boozy treats just go hand in hand, wouldn’t you agree?
That’s why I knew I had to create a fuzzy navel jello shot that was just peachy keen and perfect for those summer parties.
Let me start by saying, not all jello shots are created equal. Some are more difficult to make while others are less difficult but pack a punch in both alcohol content and taste.
Fair warning: these jello shots are easy to make but even easier to eat. You can get pretty tipsy, pretty fast off these if you’re not careful because they are that good.
Did I mention these are just 5 ingredients?? Yes, they are just that easy!

What You Need to Make Fuzzy Navel Jello Shots
- Orange Jello (3 oz. boz)
- Hot Boiling Water
- Orange Juice – I prefer the pulp free or Sunny-D
- Peach Schnapps
- Canned Peach Slices (optional)
- Whipped Cream (optional)
- 14 2-Ounce Shot Cups with Lids
- Injector or Pourable Measuring Cup
How Many Jello Shots Does This Recipe Make?
If you make this recipe exactly as-is and use the 2 oz. plastic jello shot cups like we did, you will get 14 jello shots.
You can certainly double or even triple this recipe if you want to make more for a party or event.
What Can I Use if I Can’t Find Orange Jello?
If you can’t find orange jello, you can substitute it with a box of lemon jello mixed with few drops of orange food coloring gel. You can also use an envelope of knox gelatin (unflavored) with orange food coloring.
How to Make Fuzzy Navel Jello Shots
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the jello and hot water. Mix until the jello has dissolved.
Add the orange juice and peach schnapps. Stir well.
Using the injector (or cup) fill each shot cup about ¾ of the way full.
Place in the fridge and chill for about 2 hours or until set.
If using the garnishes, add some whipped cream to the top of the shots and use a butter knife to even off the top of the shots. Add a peach slice on top of the whipped cream.
Serve and enjoy!
Helpful Tips:
- Be sure to pat dry your peach slices if you plan on using them as a garnish. If not, the juices will make a mess.
- I use Sunny D as my “orange juice” because I like the flavor better. This is just a preference, but I think you guys would love it.
- Don’t use orange juice with pulp in it. It makes the shots look gross. If you don’t mind that and like pulp, feel free to use it.
- I like to line up the shot cups on a cookie sheet or another moveable, flat surface, before filling them. It makes it easier to transfer them back and forth from the fridge.
- Be sure to store the shots with their lids and without the whipped cream and peach slice. They will keep in the fridge this way for up to two weeks, although I wouldn’t recommend it, as they taste the best when used within a week. Do not freeze.
- Top the jello shots with the garnishes right before serving.
