Our house has been filled with all sorts of goodies and Grinch themed fun. In fact, we’ve made everything from Grinch Hot Cocoa Bombs to a Grinch Cheese Ball and we aren’t stopping there!

Dessert Charcuterie Board

Charcuterie Boards are a huge trend right now! They are all over Instagram and TikTok and instead of the traditional cheese and cracker charcuterie board, we decided to make a dessert board that helps everyone make their own cup of hot chocolate.

This Grinch Hot Chocolate Charcuterie Board has the perfect amount of sweetness and goodness to make a perfect cup of hot cocoa. It is perfect for Christmas parties and even making before you watch The Grinch movie as a family!

What Is A Hot Cocoa Board?

A hot cocoa board is exactly what it sounds like! It is a platter, tray or board that holds all the fix-ins you need to make a cup of hot chocolate.

In this case, we made a Grinch themed hot cocoa board that has red and green toppings along with marshmallows, candy and even white hot cocoa powder you can add into any hot cup of milk, stir and drink!

Grinch Hot Cocoa Board

You will need:

• A large serving platter, cookie sheet or board. We used this marble lazy Susan to allow the ingredients to be spun to each person (the kids had a blast with it too).
• Mini Candy Canes
• Andes Mints
• Snowflake Marshmallows
• Mini Marshmallows
• Crushed Peppermint Candy
• Hot Cocoa Mix – We used Ghirardelli white hot cocoa powder but you can use any flavor you’d like!
• Red Heart Candy Sprinkles
• Candy Cane Sticks
• Starlight Mints
• Grinch Hot Chocolate Spoons
• Grinch Marshmallow Stirrers

Keep in mind, you can always add any red, green or other toppings and mix-ins you like!

How to Make A Grinch Hot Cocoa Dessert Board:

Once you’ve gathered all your necessary items, just start to add them and arrange them nicely onto your board. If you are making the Grinch Spoons and Marshmallow Stirrers we made, make those first before assembly the rest of your board.

You can also set up an Instant Pot or Crock Pot on the side that is filled with Hot Cocoa Mix so everyone can scoop some into a cup and then add toppings to their cup.

On our board, we have the white hot cocoa powder in the middle with the idea you will add it to a cup of warm milk, and then add in toppings you like.

The outcome? A delicious cup of Grinch Hot Cocoa you can drink right away!
