- Olive Oil– Olive oil is one of those ingredients that is good for consuming and good for lathering on your skin! Olive oil contains a healthy source of omega-3 fatty acids which is absorbed into your body upon application. Arteries use the monounsaturated fats from the oil to help move liquids through the body and to hydrate the skin. It is also great if you have any open patches of skin because the oil can also prevent infections. Just apply a little to your skin or add some to a bath, your skin will look and feel much better!
- Milk- We all know Milk is good for strong teeth and bones but it is also great for your skin. The lactic acid that is present in Milk acts as a natural moisturizer as well as an exfoliating treatment which will help get rid of those dead skin cells. Add about 1/2 gallon to a warm bath. For extra moisturizing add a few spoonfuls of olive oil to the mix.
- Avocado- Avocados are high in Vitamins A, D and E help defend against free radicals. These vitamins help your skin look and feel great and slow down the aging process. The green pulp left attached to the skin of the avocado has the highest concentration of vitamins and natural oils. Scrap this offer and apply it directly to the skin for five minutes, then rinse with warm water.
