Crockpot Hot Cocoa

When it’s cold outside a nice cup of Homemade Crockpot Hot Cocoa can make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. This recipe is delicious and will be a huge hit at any upcoming parties you have. You can even get the kids to help you make this delicious treat which is always an added bonus!

This recipe is easy to make and you can throw everything into your crockpot and allow it to simmer while you go on about your day. When you come back you will have an amazing beverage to satisfy your taste buds.

To take this recipe one step further you can really wow the crowd by serving up this drink in a fun coffee mug which you can find at your local dollar store. Top it off with whipped cream and some shaved chocolate. You could even put together a little bar of different toppings so each person can create their own perfect cup of hot cocoa.

What You’ll Need to Make Homemade Crockpot Hot Cocoa:

  • 5 Cups of Cold Milk
  • 2 Cups of Chocolate Chips (Any kind)
  • 14 oz can of Condensed Sweet Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
  • Slow Cooker or Crockpot

How to Make Homemade Crockpot Hot Cocoa:

  1. Pour all of your ingredients into your slow cooker and set the temperature to low.  I poured in my milk, condensed sweet milk, heavy whipping cream, vanilla and then my chocolate chips.
  2. Once all your ingredients are poured into your slow cooker whisk the ingredients together to ensure they are blended well and place the lid on.CROCKPOT HOT COCOA1
  3. Set your cooker to 2 hours and be sure to stir occasionally during that time.crockpot hot cocoa2
  4. Once the 2 hours is up you’re left with a delicious, rich, creamy Homemade Hot Cocoa that is perfect for a cold evening in or a event you’re hosting.
