Homemade Minions Gummies

My boys love minions and it’s easy to see why. Minions have their own language which really is more of a babble and they are totally silly. So since we were excited for the new movie release we decided to make Homemade Minions Gummies and want to share the recipe with you today.

What You Will Need to Make Homemade Minions Gummies:

• 1 Box Lemon Gelatin (yellow)
• 1 Box Berry Gelatin (blue)
• 1 Box Unflavored Gelatin (comes with 4 packets inside)
• 1/2 Cup Cold Water
• 1/4 Cup Corn Syrup
• Minions Silicone Mold
• Measuring Cup
• Condiment Bottles (optional but useful)
• Stove
• Saucepan

How to Make Homemade Minions Gummies:

1. In a measuring cup, combine the cold water and corn syrup. Stir well until all the corn syrup is dissolved into the water.
2. Pour the water mixture, 1 packet of unflavored gelatin, and 1 packet of gelatin (I started with blue) into a saucepan. Stir well until all the gelatin is dissolved.
3. Slowly heat up the mixture by heating on medium. Be careful not to boil the mixture.
4. Heat for 4-5 minutes or until the mixture is warm.
5. Once warmed, remove from heat and pour directly into your mold. I actually found it was easier to pour the mixtures into condiment bottles then pour them into the molds. These also helped get the mixture into the fine detailed areas of the mold.
6. Repeat steps above for the other color (in my case it would be yellow).
7. Allow the gummies to cool for several hours.
8. Once the gummies have cooled, remove them from the silicone mold and enjoy!
