Some say Pumpkin flavored everything is 3 months away and I say, it’s already here! These Homemade Pumpkin Spice Energy Bites are delicious and everything nice. Perfect for after school snacks or snacks before bed.
I love snacks that are packed with flavor and give me the energy boost I need naturally. These are the perfect solution! They are so tasty and easy to make. Plus the ingredients are wholesome and healthy to help provide you with natural energy.
What You’ll Need to Make Pumpkin Spice Energy Bites:
- 1 Cup Dates (pitted)
- 1/3 Cup Pumpkin Puree
- 2 Tsp. Vanilla
- 1 Tsp. Cinnamon
- ¼ Tsp. Nutmeg
- ½ Cup Oats
- ¼ Tsp. Ground Cloves
- Pinch of Salt
- 1/2 Cup Pecans (optional but I did not use them)
How to Make Pumpkin Spice Energy Bites:
- Place the dates into a small bowl and cover with water. Let soak for 10 minutes, then drain.
- In a food processor or blender combine all of the ingredients, including the soaked dates. Pulse until combined. Adjust the spices to taste. Place into the refrigerator for 30 minutes to chill.
- Use your hands to form the dough into small balls.
- Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
Note: This is a Paleo recipe if the oats are not used.
Has anyone added the pecans? I’ve only ever made energy balls or bites with nuts. Do you blend them in with the other ingredients or you roll them in the nuts!?
Thank you
Jeannie 🤷🤷♀️
This sounds so simple and filling. I will have to try this recipe.Thank you for linking up with us at #HomeMattersParty. We would love to have you again next week.
Energy bites are so perfect for my household. We’re always on the go and need something filling but quick to eat. I love that this one is perfect for the fall season. I’ll have to give it a try as my old recipe is a bit too predictable. 😉
I haven’t ever tried any energy bites, but I’ve been seeing a lot of different kinds around lately. I need to try these. This would be a nice healthy treat when we just need a little something between meals to keep us going. Thanks for sharing!
Yes this is a tasty and healthy treat. I am a bit biased because I am OBSESSED with Pumpkin Spice everything but they are quite delicious! 😉
How many pecans does the recipe call for? All I saw was 1/2 pecans. I was guessing 1/2 a cup, but want to make sure before I try it. 🙂
Hi Rachel, so sorry about that typo. Yes it is 1/2 cup pecans but those are optional and not a required ingredient. Thank you!
How many do the pumpkin crêpes make per batch
Hi Tina, I think you commented on the wrong recipe. However, with the pumpkin crepes it all depends on the size of crepe you make and the amount of filling you use for each one. You can easily make 6-12 servings but again depends on your personal measurements.
Why are oats listed twice?
Sorry Jen that was a typo I have fixed it to only show one! 🙂
How many will it make ?
It really depends on how big you make the balls so that part is entirely up to you. 🙂
