When hunger strikes it’s never a good place to be. However, it’s much worse when you are pregnant because it has a trickling effect. That’s why I want to share How I Combat Hunger During Pregnancy so that if you’re expecting or know someone who is, you can help them combat it too!
Like I said, nobody likes being hungry.
But, when you are pregnant it just makes everything worse. From irritability to heartburn, the side effects of being hungry during pregnancy are not fun.
That is why I have a few ways I combat hunger during pregnancy so I never have to feel hungry or cranky again.
First, I make sure I eat smaller meals throughout the day.
Before I found out I was pregnant, I was eating the typical morning, lunch and dinner meals with maybe a snack here and there. Then when I became pregnant, I quickly learned that wasn’t going to work.
As my stomach and baby has grown, the amount of food I eat is so little before I feel full. Therefore, I am hungry more often.
So, by eating smaller meals throughout the day, I can ensure I am always filling my stomach with something.
That brings me to my second point, I try to eat a well-balanced and healthy diet. This pregnancy I decided I wasn’t going to let my pregnancy cravings get the best of me and really try to eat healthier and maintain my weight rather than gain a bunch I have to lose after the baby is born.
I can nail both of these aspects without breaking the bank too (which totally helps save for a new baby). I do that by shopping for foods that are quick and easy to make. Recently, I’ve been loving the Tai Pei entrees.
Tai Pei Asian cuisine entrées are made with clean ingredients flavor-infused rice and no additives, preservatives, artificial flavors or colors, just yummy food that is good for you.
Plus, there are ten delicious entrée recipes from Asia and every variety is designed to deliver a restaurant-inspired experience straight from your own kitchen (or office microwave) in just minutes.
I don’t know about you, but I like options because I get bored with the same food over and over so this really gives me a good variety of choices.
To make entrée preparation fast and easy, Tai Pei’s packaging has been designed to serve the perfect portion to satisfy your cravings (no matter how many portions you need to prepare), while allowing enough room for the tasty ingredients to steam perfectly.
My personal favorite has been the Beef and Broccoli lately. Yum!
And if that doesn’t look appealing enough, you can actually use Tai Pei to custom make your own recipes. Like this Pepper Steak stuffed in peppers. Doesn’t it look delicious?
