Check Amazon’s Main Page Frequently
I suggest you check Amazon’s Main page several times a day. The main page has it all. Any deals and important information will be posted here. Once you sign-up for an Amazon account you will notice it will have tabs near the top that will navigate you to different pages. One may even have your name that will include personalized picks just for you that is based on your recent viewing and purchasing of products. An example is below:
Another important tab listed on the main page is the “Today’s Deals”. This tab will take you to Amazon’s Gold Box deal which is a deal that is offered all day (while supplies last) and is extremely discounted. It will also contain Amazon’s Famous lightning deals which are deals valid while supplies last and go on sale at random times during the day (times are listed). You will want to check this tab throughout the day.
Search for Items with the Prime Logo
When you do find an item you want to purchase, make sure it has the prime logo (pictured below). Anytime to see this logo you will know that the item you are looking at qualifies for Free 2 Day shipping. If you do not see this logo, chances are you will need to pay for shipping in addition to the product. Besides the shipping factor, items that you search for that contain this logo are often times cheaper than ones that do not contain this logo. This is because identical products are sold from different sellers on Amazon. This also helps if you ever have a package lost, stolen, or damaged because since it came from Amazon, Amazon will take care of you and make things right.
Amazon is already one of the best places to find awesome deals. As you may have noticed, I usually will post a deal and compare that price with Amazon. (I do it for every deal I find) simply because if a price beats Amazon it is AWESOME and you will for sure want to grab that item. However, Amazon does not always have the best price. You see, Amazon competes. They want your business and sometimes you will find an item priced better somewhere else. If this happens, tell Amazon about it. When you tell Amazon you have found it cheaper somewhere else they will look into it and often times lower their price to that same price or lower it to an even better price for you. In order to report a better price to Amazon you must be on a product page and scroll down toward the “product details” section and you will see this:
Click “Tell us about a lower price” and it will ask you for the information as to where you found that deal and how much it was including shipping, etc. Then check back within a few hours or days and Amazon just might have that item you were looking for at a better price plus you will receive Free 2 day shipping.
