I don’t know what is wrong with me. I went into Facebook and came out with 10 pairs of leggings and about 5 new dresses. In one night. Basically, I’m changing my whole wardrobe. Everything is awesome, so comfy and an amazing feeling when I pull these clothes on. Again, I repeat: What is wrong with me. Friends, I Think I Joined a Cult (and I Love It).
I Think I Joined a Cult (and I Love It)
First, the leggings. Like a gateway drug, they opened my eyes to a HUGE sub-culture of awesomeness. I mean, I slipped these buttery-soft, ridiculously comfortable leggings on and I had to have more. So, I started digging deeper. And deeper.
Down the rabbit hole I went. And what I discovered. Dudes, this is like the Best. Thing. Ever.
And it’s not just leggings I found.
Carly is the newest. It’s a dress for every occasion. Then there’s the Irma–a shirt you can wear with leggings–with a belt–with boots–with sneakers–with no belt–with a ball cap–any which way. And SO. Much. More. I cannot stop with the periods. But–its NOT just that the clothes are awesome. It didn’t stop there. LuLaRoe just kept surprising me…
First, many of the clothes (with the exception of the leggings) are made in the US. And that’s pretty amazing, considering that US production only accounts for less than 3% of the US’s clothing market (according to FactCheck.org). That’s NOTHING. And the leggings are only made outside the US because (rumor has it), China holds the patent on the machine that makes the leggings so super buttery-soft. And some of the clothes are even made from recycled clothing. So. Amazing.
Second, everything is sewn by hand. Yeah–there’s seriously real people sewing every stitch. On all the clothing. And–those people aren’t being paid like slave-labor. They’re being paid fair wages, they’re all of-age, and no one is coerced into working. There’s even an awesome video showing this great process and the story of the product. See for yourself below:
Finally, every piece of LuLaRoe clothing is affordable. Nothing is ridiculously expensive and, because you can mix and match, a capsule wardrobe is MORE than possible (and thus all comfy). I just love it.
Someone, please join me. This cult is too awesome not to share. LOL!
