  • White Chocolate Chips– I prefer Ghirardelli or Lily’s
  • Peanut Butter
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Pumpkin Puree
  • Vanilla Extract – I prefer pure vanilla over imitation vanilla
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Reese’s Pieces Candy

Helpful Tips

  • You can use organic peanut butter or a peanut butter alternative such as Wow Butter or Sunflower Butter
  • You can use any Fall candy you want instead of Reese’s Pieces candy
  • Store leftovers in airtight container at room temperature

How to make Pumpkin Spice Puppy Chow for Fall

Ingredients
  

  • 9 cups corn chex cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Reese’s pieces candy

Instructions
 

  • In a microwave safe bowl, melt together the white chocolate chips, peanut butter, and unsalted butter. Microwave on 20 second increments, stirring well in between.
  • Add the pumpkin puree and vanilla, and stir well.
  • Add the chex cereal to a large bowl. Pour the mixture over the chex cereal, and stir to coat well.
  • Add the powdered sugar to two large plastic zip bags.
  • Divide the coated cereal between the bags, and shake well to coat.
  • Dump the cereal onto a large baking sheet, and allow it to set for 1 hour.
  • For serving, add in Reese’s pieces and enjoy.
