These Layered Red, White and Blue Shots are the most patriotic way to celebrate 4th of July, Memorial Day and even Labor Day. They are a tasty and boozy treat just for adults!
Red, White and Blue Shots
I am a sucker for jello shots but they can be a bit time consuming.
When you are in a pinch, you can whip up gorgeous shots without all the hassle and time needed for jello to set.
These layered patriotic shots are perfect for those summer barbecues or patriotic celebrations.
These layered shots are made with a few different drinks and give a beautifully layered drink without the need for jello.
How to Make Red, White and Blue Shots
Ingredients:
- Crown Royal Peach Whisky
- Blue Curacao
- Grenadine
- Half and Half Cream
- Reddi Whip Whipped Cream
- Patriotic Sprinkles
Directions:
Fill 1/3 of a shot glass with Grenadine.
In a separate shot glass, combine Crown Royal Peach and Half & Half Cream. Stir well.
Pour Crown Royal and Cream on top of the Grenadine. Pour slowly over the back of a spoon to keep the layers from mixing. Most of it will rise above the Grenadine.
Fill the final 1/3 of the shot glass with Blue Curacao. Again, pour slowly over the back of a spoon. Some of the cream will rise above the Blue Curacao, but most will stay below it.
If making multiple shots, after creating the layers, place the shot glasses in the freezer.
Top with Reddi Whip Whipped Cream and Patriotic Sprinkles. Serve immediately. The whipped cream melts fast.
Notes: Flavor is similar to peaches and cream and finishes with a cherry flavor (Grenadine).
