My kids still believe in Santa which is great for us because right around September they start being extra nice knowing that Santa is watching them.

The problem is, as my kids have gotten older, they began asking just how he kept an eye on them and I never really had an answer, until now.

That is why I find these Santa Cams super fun because the kids think it’s Santa’s way of keeping an eye on them and it answers that burning question.

You can actually do the same idea and make it an ‘Elf Cam’ Ornament.

So, if you are looking for a fun and easy Christmas craft to make, look no further!

Supplies Needed:

Note: I found everything I needed at my local Michael’s store. You can order online and pick up curbside or in-store. I have links to all the items I used above.

How to Make It:

Step One: Start by hot gluing the santa cam lens onto the front of the ornament. You want to get it as close to the middle as possible (make sure to leave room around the top and bottom to write on).

Step Two: Once glued, tie a bow onto the ornament using your Christmas ribbon. Doing this before you write will help keep your writing from smearing.

Step Three: Finally, write “Santa Cam” onto your ornament using your chalkboard marker and allow it to dry.

Step Four: Hang your new Santa Cam ornament onto your Christmas tree and let the kids know that Santa is watching!

See, wasn’t that easy?

Aside from making these for your own kids, you can also make and gift these too. Maybe even create a fun little poem/saying to attach onto them.
