Supply Information
- Scrub Daddy or Scrub Mommy: You can use any sponge but I prefer the Scrub Mommy sponges. They made an entire Christmas Sponge Mommy and Scrub Daddy collection I found at Target that I used for this gift.
- Small Bottle of Dish Soap: I found small bottles of Dawn Dish Soap at my local Dollar Tree for $1.25.
- Small Cello Bags: I used Christmas treat bags from my local party store and they fit just fine. You can find them at Dollar Tree too, I just find those ones are thinner and may rip.
- Curling Ribbon: This makes it easy to tie the bags shut. You can use any color to match your gift bags.
- Printable Gift Tag: I made a Free Printable Scrub Mommy Gift Tag for you. Simply print, cut and attach.
Helpful Tips
- You can use any small bottle of dish soap you’d like. I just prefer Dawn and love the tiny bottles that Dollar Tree sells.
- You can purchase Scrub Mommy and Scrub Daddy in bulk at your local Costco or Sam’s Club to save on the cost. I’ve also seen them at my local TJMaxx and HomeGoods stores. Buying this way gets the sponges down to $2-3 plus the $1.25 dish soap makes it less than $5 per gift!
- These fit into standard size treat bags from your local party store. You can also use paper lunch sacks or any gift bag of your choosing.
Scrub Mommy Gift Idea
Materials
- 1 Scrub Mommy or Scrub Daddy sponge
- 1 mini bottle of Dawn Dish Soap
- 1 cello treat bag
- 1 piece curling ribbon
- 1 printable Scrub Mommy gift tag
Instructions
- Start by printing and cutting your printable gift tags (make sure to use a single hole punch to punch out the hole on the printable). Make sure to write on it in the area that is blank after “Happy Holidays from”
- Place your Scrub Mommy or Scrub Daddy inside your gift bag along with your mini bottle of dish soap.
- Use the curling ribbon to tie the gift bag shut and attach your gift tag.
- Your gift is now ready for gifting!
