What You Need to Make Slow Cooker Crack Chicken
- Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts – I like to have mine trimmed and ready to go.
- Ranch Seasoning
- Cream Cheese– You can use light or reduced fat.
- Bacon– You can use any of your favorite bacon. I prefer thick-cut bacon.
- Shredded Cheese– You can use your favorite shredded cheese. I prefer shredded cheddar or colby jack cheese.
- Green Onion– To add as garnish
- Burger Buns– Optional but necessary if serving sandwich-style
Helpful Tips
- Store leftovers in fridge in an airtight container for 2-3 days and then reheat in the microwave.
- You can serve this dip-style alongside some potato chips.
- This also is great served over a baked potato or over rice.
- Cook for 6-8 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high.
Slow Cooker Crack Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 ½ lb. boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1 oz. packet of ranch seasoning mix
- 16 ounces cream cheese
- 8-10 slices of bacon
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheese
- ½ cup green onions sliced
- Buns for serving
Instructions
- Spray your crockpot with non-stick spray, and place the chicken breast into the bottom.
- Sprinkle over the ranch seasoning mix, and place the cream cheese over top.
- Cook for 3-4 hours on high, or 6-8 hours on low.
- Before cooking finishes, cook the bacon as desired, we bake ours on a rack in the oven at 400 for about 18-20 minutes.
- Chop the bacon.
- 30 minutes before cooking finishes, sprinkle the shredded cheese over top. Place the lid back on, and allow the cheese to melt while cooking finishes.
- Before serving, stir in chopped bacon and green onion.
- Enjoy!
