What You Need to Make Taco Soup
- Ground beef, browned
- Yellow onion, diced
- Garlic, minced
- Pinto beans, drained
- Black beans, drained and rinsed
- Sweet corn, drained
- Tomato sauce
- Taco seasoning
- Chicken broth
- Toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, tortilla strips, green onions, etc.
Helpful Tips
- Store leftovers in the fridge, covered in container for 2-3 days.
- Slow cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low for 4-6 hours.
Taco Soup
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef browned
- ½ a medium yellow onion diced
- 2-3 cloves of garlic minced
- 15 oz. can of pinto beans drained
- 15 oz. can of black beans drained and rinsed
- 15 oz. can of sweet corn drained
- 2 8 oz. cans of tomato sauce
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Toppings- shredded cheese sour cream, tortilla strips, green onions, etc..
Instructions
- To your crock pot, add ground beef.
- Sprinkle over the taco seasoning.
- Add onion and garlic.
- Add beans and corn.
- Add tomato sauce.
- Add chicken broth.
- Stir.
- Cook on low 4-6 hours or high 2-3 hours.
- Top with your favorite toppings.
