  • Ground beef, browned
  • Yellow onion, diced
  • Garlic, minced
  • Pinto beans, drained
  • Black beans, drained and rinsed
  • Sweet corn, drained
  • Tomato sauce
  • Taco seasoning
  • Chicken broth
  • Toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, tortilla strips, green onions, etc.

How to make homemade taco soup in a slow cooker

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef browned
  • ½ a medium yellow onion diced
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic minced
  • 15 oz. can of pinto beans drained
  • 15 oz. can of black beans drained and rinsed
  • 15 oz. can of sweet corn drained
  • 2 8 oz. cans of tomato sauce
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • Toppings- shredded cheese sour cream, tortilla strips, green onions, etc..

Instructions
 

  • To your crock pot, add ground beef.
  • Sprinkle over the taco seasoning.
  • Add onion and garlic.
  • Add beans and corn.
  • Add tomato sauce.
  • Add chicken broth.
  • Stir.
  • Cook on low 4-6 hours or high 2-3 hours.
  • Top with your favorite toppings.
