Easter Crack is an easy, crave-worthy dessert to serve up at any Easter celebration. It sweet, crunchy and covered in chocolate for the perfect Spring treat.
40 saltine crackers 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup salted butter 3 cups white chocolate chips Pink gel food coloring ½ cup pastel Easter M&Ms ¼ cup chopped mini eggs 2 Tablespoons Easter sprinkles
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Fill the sheet with your saltine crackers in a single layer, set aside.
In a medium sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat. Be careful not to burn. Once melted, whisk in brown sugar.
Cook on medium heat until sugar is dissolved and incorporated into the butter. Try to mix out any lumps.
This Easter treat would be so perfect to make with the kids and serve to the Easter Bunny! Make it the night of Easter and serve on a cute bunny plate!
Immediately pour the sugar and butter mixture evenly over your saltine crackers. Make sure you cover all the crackers entirely.
Place the baking sheet into your oven, and let it bake for about 4 minutes. The sugar and butter will be very hot and bubbly.
Meanwhile, add 2 cups of the white chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl. Heat on 30 second increments, stirring well in between, until melted.
Add the additional 1 cup to a microwave safe bowl, and also heat in 30 second increments stirring between. Once melted, add 1-2 drops of pink gel food coloring and stir to mix well.
Spread the white chocolate and pink chocolate evenly across the crackers. Top with Easter M&M's and Easter Sprinkles.
Break Easter Crack into pieces and Serve and Enjoy! You can also wrap these and give as gifts! Make sure to store them away from moisture.
