MOUNTAIN DEW BISCUITS

MOUNTAIN DEW BISCUITS

Mountain Dew Biscuits are a spin on the viral 7-UP Biscuits. These are loaded with flavor and end up giving you a flaky, soft and sweet biscuit.

INGREDIENTS

INGREDIENTS

4 cups all-purpose baking mix (I used bisquick) 1 cup sour cream 1 cup mountain dew 1/2 cup melted butter (1 stick)

Preheat oven to 450°F In a medium bowl, mix together the all purpose baking mix, sour cream and mountain dew.

Stir until everything is well combined and no dry pockets of baking mix remain. At this point, it should resemble bread dough.

Pour half of the melted butter in a 9×13 baking dish and top the prepared dough. I use an ice cream scoop for this so all of the biscuits are the same size.

One question I get often is: "Do these contain caffeine? The answer is yes, Mountain Dew does contain some caffeine and it's not entirely baked out when cooking.

Pour the remaining half of the butter on top of biscuits and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown all over.

You want them to be a golden brown just like this (be careful not to burn them) You can serve them warm right from the pan.

You can even drizzle melted butter or fresh honey over the top of these biscuits before serving. It is SO GOOD.

Wrap any leftovers and put them in an airtight container or ziploc baggie. You can reheat them for 10-15 seconds in the microwave before enjoying.
