Start by removing the cap of the plastic ornament.
Now pour green paint inside. Rotate your ornament so that the paint coats the entire inside of the ornament.
Place the painted ornament on a paper towel or upside down on the inside of a plastic cup with the opening of the ornament facing downwards. It will basically drip dry. I recommend allowing it to dry a minimum of 1 hour.
Next take the yellow foam paper and cut out two teardrop shaped eyes. When you have the eyes cut out use a sharpie to draw the pupils. If you want it accurate to Dr. Seuss’s art style, draw the pupils in the shape of “U”s.
Once the paint in the ornament has dried, glue on the two eyes and the red heart onto the outside of the ornament.
Make sure the eyes are attached along the center of the ornament and the heart is attached to lower part.
You can finish up the ornament using a sharpie to draw on the final details of the Grinch’s face. Be sure to include his grinning mouth, nose, and long bushy eyebrows. Look up an image of the Grinch if you need a reference.
All that is left to do is replace the cap of the ornament and hang it on the tree.
