DIY Mint Christmas Tree

Brittanie
This Mint Christmas Tree is the perfect do it yourself project to turn your white Christmas Tree into a beautiful mint green color. It just requires some spray paint, a bit of time and some patience to make a one of a kind tree for the holidays.
Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 4 hours 20 minutes

Materials

  • White Pre-Lit Christmas Tree - I used a Slim 7' Christmas Tree I found on sale at Michael's
  • Rust-Oleum 2X UltraCover Spray Paint in Ocean Mist
  • Drop Cloth or Large Piece of Cardboard to stick under tree

Instructions

  • Once you have your Christmas tree assembled, place it onto a drop cloth or piece of cardboard and place in a well ventilated area (preferably outside).
  • Begin spray painting your tree. I worked from the middle to the top and then did the bottom last. This allowed me to turn the tree as needed without having to get paint on my hands.
  • Once the tree is spray painted, allow it to dry 4-6 hours (for best results let it dry overnight).
  • Once the tree has dried, spray paint any spots you may have missed and allow to dry for several hours.
  • Move into your home and decorate! I decorated mine with black and white buffalo plaid.
  • Enjoy it for the holidays!
