These Grinch Oreo Pops are the perfect Christmas treat to make with the entire family. Made with Christmas Oreos, chocolate and heart sprinkles, you'll have a treat that is sure to have your heart growing three sizes in no time!
Christmas Oreos - I like the ones that have the red creme fillingI love the way they look inside these pops.
Bright green candy melts – I prefer the Wilton brand but as long as they are greenany will do.
Red Heart Sprinkles – I prefer for the Wilton brand
Lollipop Sticks
Instructions
Carefully separate your Oreos in half. If you lightly twist it, the halves will separate. Save both sides.
Melt your candy melts in the microwave. Heat for 30 seconds, stir and repeat until melted. Be careful not to burn.
Dip the tip of your candy stick into the melted chocolate.
Place your candy stick into the middle of the side of the Oreo with the frosting and then place the other side of the Oreo cookie on top.
Use a spoon to scoop the melted chocolate onto the top of the Oreo. Then flip and repeat on the other side. Gently shake the excess chocolate off.
Stick the chocolate covered Oreo pop onto a tray covered with wax paper.
While the chocolate is still wet and sticky, place a heart sprinkle in the bottom right of each Oreo pop and then place the pops into the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes until set.
Once the chocolate has set and hardened, you can enjoy right away or wrap in small cellophane bags and gift for the holidays.
Notes
Keep the pops stored in a cool, dry place since the chocolate can melt.
