These Grinch Oreo Pops are the perfect Christmas treat to make with the entire family. Made with Christmas Oreos, chocolate and heart sprinkles, you'll have a treat that is sure to have your heart growing three sizes in no time!

Refrigeration Time 20 minutes
Total Time 30 minutes
Servings 6

Ingredients

  • Christmas Oreos - I like the ones that have the red creme filling I love the way they look inside these pops.
  • Bright green candy melts – I prefer the Wilton brand but as long as they are green any will do.
  • Red Heart Sprinkles – I prefer for the Wilton brand
  • Lollipop Sticks

Instructions

  • Carefully separate your Oreos in half. If you lightly twist it, the halves will separate. Save both sides.
  • Melt your candy melts in the microwave. Heat for 30 seconds, stir and repeat until melted. Be careful not to burn.
  • Dip the tip of your candy stick into the melted chocolate.
  • Place your candy stick into the middle of the side of the Oreo with the frosting and then place the other side of the Oreo cookie on top.
  • Use a spoon to scoop the melted chocolate onto the top of the Oreo. Then flip and repeat on the other side. Gently shake the excess chocolate off.
  • Stick the chocolate covered Oreo pop onto a tray covered with wax paper.
  • While the chocolate is still wet and sticky, place a heart sprinkle in the bottom right of each Oreo pop and then place the pops into the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes until set.
  • Once the chocolate has set and hardened, you can enjoy right away or wrap in small cellophane bags and gift for the holidays.

Notes

Keep the pops stored in a cool, dry place since the chocolate can melt.
