Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork

How to make Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork Sandwiches using your Crock-Pot and a few simple ingredients including Dr. Pepper soda.

Servings 8 - 10 Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pork Roast - 4 pounds
  • 1 bottle of Dr. Pepper or Dr. Pepper Cream Soda- 16 ounce
  • Garlic Salt - to taste
  • Garlic Powder - to taste
  • Seasoned Pepper - to taste
  • Parsley - optional

Instructions
 

  • Turn your Crock Pot on the high heat setting and place the pork roast in the bottom of the slow cooker. 
  • Pour the Dr. Pepper over the pork roast, and sprinkle the roast with the garlic salt, garlic powder, and seasoned Pepper. 
  • Place the lid on the Crock Pot, and cook on high for 4 to 5 hours, or on low for 6 to 7 hours.  
  • When the pork roast is done, turn the heat off, and shred with two forks right in the Crock Pot, mixing with the Dr. Pepper sauce. 
  • Sprinkle with Parsley if desired, and serve on buns. 
  • Serve and Enjoy!
