Homemade Double Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces Bittersweet Chocolate 4 ounces melted, 4 ounces chopped
  • 1 ½ cups Flour you can also use almond flour if you want
  • ½ cup Unsweetened Natural Cocoa
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1 cup Coconut Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 stick Butter cubed
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Melt half of the chocolate in the microwave.
  • In a large bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Whisk well.
  • Add in cubed butter and mix until at a cornmeal consistency. Add in the eggs, vanilla, and melted chocolate. Stir until the dough is smooth. Then gently fold in the chopped chocolate.
  • Drop dough onto baking sheet in balls. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes (cookies will be soft when they are done, do not bake until hardened).
  • Set on a cooling rack until cookies firm.
  • Serve and enjoy!
