First you want to cut up the oranges into slices (rounds). I used the first orange as-is and the second orange I actually squeezed the juice out of it before placing it into the crockpot.
The next step really is just to add all of the ingredients into your crockpot. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 1-3. You want to get it to a nice boil so that the flavor is extracted from the juices and spices.
Once it’s been boiling for some time, turn your crockpot back down to low and serve it up. Top it off with an orange slice and some whipped cream.
