No ratings yet

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ cup popcorn
  • ¼ cup water
  • 3 to 4 drops neon green food coloring
  • 10 bat sprinkles

Instructions

  • First start by popping the popcorn and set aside to cool. You can used bagged popcorn or fresh popcorn kernels – entirely your choice.
  • Next, add butter, water, food coloring, and sugar and simmer until it reaches a low boil. Stir frequently and boil for about 2 to 3 minutes to get it to thicken.
  • Once the mixture has thickened, remove from heat. Let cool for about 3 minutes.
  • Carefully drizzle the mixture over the popcorn, add sprinkles, and toss lightly. Tip: you can also lay the popcorn out on some wax paper and drizzle the mixture and sprinkles that way before serving.
  • Serve it up and enjoy. It’s a perfectly creepy recipe for any Halloween bash.
