Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 15 minutes

Materials

  • 1 5 oz. Bottle of Clear School Glue
  • ¼ TSP Borax
  • ½ Cup Hot Water
  • 2-3 Drops Neon Green Food Coloring
  • Neon Green Glitter add to liking
  • Red Plastic Hearts
  • Mixing Bowls
  • Spoon or Stirring Stick
  • Container to Store Leftover Slime In

Instructions

  • First things first, I want to point out that although there is a recipe and measurements for the Borax, you should know that you may not use the entire Borax solution to make your slime. Slime is one of those tricky crafts. The final amount you add depends on a variety of factors including how humid or dry the area you live in is. So, add your borax solution slowly.
  • Once you know that, it’s time to get going. First, mix your Borax and water into a small bowl until the water turns clear and is no longer foggy. Set aside.
  • Now, pour your entire bottle of clear glue into a bowl.
  • Next, add 2-3 drops of the neon green food coloring and add some of your neon glitter.
  • Stir well.
  • This next part is the IMPORTANT one. Slowly add your Borax solution into the glue mixture. Add a little at a time and stir. Keep doing this until the slime does not stick to the sides of the bowl anymore. If you don’t use all of the Borax solution, that is entirely okay.
  • Take the slime out of the bowl and knead until it doesn’t feel sticky and has good stretch to it.
  • Now add your plastic hearts and your slime is now ready for play!
  • Store any leftover slime in an airtight container for future play.
