Halloween Rice Krispie Treats

Halloween Rice Krispie Treats are the perfect sweet treat to serve up at any Halloween party. Made with Rice Krispies cereal, marshmallows, black food dye and Halloween sprinkles, these are easy to make and equally delicious.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Cups Rice Krispie Treats
  • 4 Cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • ½ Teaspoon Black Gel Food Dye
  • Halloween Sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • Line a 9-inch square pan with parchment paper and spray the paper with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Place the butter in a large bowl along with the marshmallows and microwave on high for 1.5 minutes or until the marshmallows have expanded quite a bit. 
  • Remove and stir until smooth. 
  • Add the dye and stir until no streaks appear.
  • Add the rice krispies and stir until fully coated in the black mixture. 
  • Pour into the prepared pan, spread the mixture so that it’s even, and lightly press it down to pack it in. 
  • Top with as many sprinkles as you like.
  • Leave to rest in a cool, dry area for 2 hours or until set. 
  • Slice and enjoy!
