Ingredients

  • 6 Large Eggs
  • 1 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Can Large Black Olives pitted
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika or Seasoned Salt for topping

Instructions

  • Start by making hard-boiled eggs. You can use our favorite method for making the best hard boiled eggs recipe.
  • Once your hard boiled eggs are made, peel them and then cut the eggs in half vertically.
  • Carefully remove all yolks using a spoon and place them in a bowl.
  • Mash the yolks with a fork and add mayonnaise to your desired consistency (we like lots of mayo and put about as much mayo as we have yolk, 50/50 ratio)
  • Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture and set aside.
  • Cut several olives in half, using one half as the spider body and the other half to make little spider legs.
  • Carefully assemble your spider on top of the yolk mix by first placing the body (half olive) and then the legs (half olive slices) on each side. Make sure your spiders have 8 legs total.
  • Sprinkle a dash of paprika or seasoned salt on top (if desired).
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Serve and enjoy!
