If you love the Disney movie Frozen as much as we do, you will love this Elsa Hot Cocoa Recipe. Inspired by Queen Elsa, it is a vanilla chocolate cocoa colored teal blue and topped with whipped cream and mini marshmallows.

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Whole Milk
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Cup Ghirardelli White Chocolate Wafers cut into small pieces
  • Whipped Cream
  • 2-3 drops of Neon Teal Gel Food Coloring
  • Mini Marshmallows

Instructions

  • Combine milk, vanilla and white chocolate in a medium saucepan, stir to mix.
  • Heat the white chocolate on medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until it comes to a simmer. (Do not let it come to a boil.)
  • Remove the white chocolate from from heat and stir in the blue gel food coloring. I added about 2-3 drops until it became the color I wanted.
  • Carefully pour the hot cocoa into the cup.
  • Top with whipping cream and mini marshmallows.
  • Serve warm and Enjoy!

Notes

You can also line the rim with snowflake sprinkles by dipping the glass into corn syrup and then into sprinkles before pouring the hot cocoa into the glass.
