What is An Aperol Spritz?

An Aperol Spritz is traditionally an Italian wine-based cocktail that has the perfect balance of a sweet and bitter taste. It is also typically bright orange in color.

Aperol Spritz is made up of four simple ingredients: Aperol, Prosecco wine, Soda and a slice of orange.

What is KEEL Vodka?

KEEL Vodka is the world’s first premium light spirit with a low ABV (23.8%).

With only 58 calories per serving, KEEL is carb, gluten and sugar-free, making it a great option to reach for when mixing up your favorite vodka-based drinks.

Halloween Spritz

Now that we know what an Aperol Spritz is, it’s time to gather the ingredients needed to make this Halloween Spritz.

The best part about this halloween cocktail (other than the look and taste) is that it is about 100 calories making it the perfect option if you are trying to watch what you eat and drink during the holidays!

What you need for a Halloween Spritz:

  • KEEL Vodka (this is what helps keep the calories down)
  • Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice
  • Aperol
  • Vanilla extract
  • Soda water (Club Soda)
  • Black Rimming Sugar (optional but gives it that Halloween look)

Note: This recipe is adapted from KEEL Vodka.

How to Make It:

First, start by wetting the rim of the glass you chose to use and then dip the glass into the black rimming sugar.

I find this easiest to put some of the rimming sugar on a shallow plate and then dip the glass into it.

If water doesn’t work to get the sugar to stick, use a bit of the soda water since it tends to be a bit more sticky.

Next, fill the glass with ice (if using) and combine all ingredients except for the club soda and Aperol.

Give the drink a quick stir and top off with the Aperol and club soda then stir again.

If you want your drink to be cold but not have ice in it, you can freeze the glasses beforehand then just add all of the ingredients (except the club soda, it will cause it to explode) into a cocktail shaker with ice, shake then pour into the glass.
