Dirt Cake Walking Desserts make a fun treat to serve up at birthday parties, pool parties and anywhere you want a no bake dessert that is easy to eat on-the-go.
Walking Desserts Are So Fun
When it comes to making desserts for a crowd, you can get creative and serve up an individual dessert that is fun to make and even more fun to eat.
Walking desserts are like walking tacos. They are made inside of a bag of cookies (in this case, mini Oreos) and then filled with toppings that you can enjoy by the spoonfuls.
This recipe is a fun twist on pudding dirt cups and is sure to be a huge hit at your next party!

Why You’ll Love This Recipe
- It is easy to make – It’s as simple as throwing some ingredients inside of an Oreo Minis bag and mixing it up.
- It is tasty – If you love Oreos, cream cheese and gummy worms, this is right up your alley.
- It is inexpensive to make – You can purchase all of the items in bulk making it inexpensive to make for a crowd.
- The kids will love it– What kid doesn’t like sugar? But seriously, with how cute and tasty these are, kids are going to love them!
What You Need to Make Dirt Cake Walking Desserts
- Mini Oreos bags
- White Chocolate Pudding – I really like the Ghirardelli brand but you can use any brand you like
- Fudge Topping
- Cool Whip
- Oreos – You need regular Oreos to put into a food processor to make Oreo crumbs
- Gummy Worms – I prefer the Albanese brand but you can use any you like
Helpful Tips
- I recommend making this right before serving. If you prepare these in advance, the Oreos will end up soggy.
- You can prepare the pudding ahead of time and refrigerate up to when ready to use.
- You can purchase a large box of the Mini Oreos at Costco or Sam’s Club (as long as your store carries them).
- These do not keep well as leftovers (again because the Oreos will go soggy).
