What You Need to Make Vampire Donuts
- Plain Old Fashioned donuts
- Plastic Halloween Dracula teeth
- Candied eyes
- Red gel icing
- Black gel icing
What other donut flavors can I use?
You can use chocolate donuts, powdered donuts or even get regular glazed donuts like Krispy Kreme donuts.
What sort of vampire fangs should I use?
I used the clear plastic vampire fangs but you can use white fangs or even colored vampire fangs.
How far in advance can I make these?
I wouldn’t make these more than 24 hours in advance. You want to ensure you have these made fresh so the donuts don’t dry out and harden. Keep the donuts covered in a box or air tight container before serving.
How to Make Vampire Donuts
Start by drawing on Dracula’s hair (his widow’s peak) with the black icing. You’ll want to form a triangle shape at the top of the donut to mimic Dracula’s iconic hair line.
Place the candy eyes onto the donut by dabbing the back of each one with icing and securing them in place below the “V” shaped hairline.
Insert a set of vampire teeth into the donut hole
Drip red icing on teeth to look like fake blood.
Repeat process to complete remaining donuts.
Serve and Enjoy!
