When it comes to shopping at Dollar Tree, I think many truly underestimate the goldmine it is especially when it comes to the holidays.

Aside from budget-savvy holiday candy and decor, Dollar Tree has another aisle of hidden treasures: the toy aisle!

Recently, I visited my local store and I was so excited to find so many new toys that not only would make great stocking stuffers or gifts for kids, but they’d also make the perfect size for Elf on The Shelf props.

The best part is, these are all just priced at $1.25 each! So, trust me when I say, it’s worth making a trip to your local Dollar Tree soon!

By the way, did you hear that Dollar Tree is rolling back prices to $1 on hundreds of items in their stores?

Mini Appliances: Dollar Tree has several new mini appliances that are perfect for play and display. I found these adorable blenders and mini toasters that’d be perfect for an Elf on The Shelf kitchen cooking display.

Mini Dice Games: Dollar Tree released new mini dice games that are perfect stocking stuffers and great to have your elf leave for the kids. One seems similar to Yahtzee making it fun for kids and the family to play at game night.

Giant Rainbow Slinky: I loved playing with slinkies as a kid! This giant rainbow color spring would be fun for your elf to get “stuck in” and leave a fun toy for the kids behind.

Mini Board Games: I was probably most excited for these new mini board games at Dollar Tree. I found a 3-in-1 game board the has chess, checkers and backgammon. I also found tic tac toe and 4 in a row (essentially connect 4). And I even found a memory flash game (sort of like Bop It). All are fun ways to have your elf leave a game for the kids to play.

Invisible Clear Puzzle: I’ve always wanted to try one of these invisible puzzles and now I can for less than $2! Dollar Tree has these new clear puzzles that would make a fun challenge for your elf to leave for your kiddos.

Mini Dart Games: I have so many ideas for these mini dart games and they come in 2 different colors. Perfect stocking stuffers and for your scout elf.

Mini Tools: These new mini tool toys are adorable. First I found the saw toy and then the drill toy. Both light up with batteries. Then I found the tool table. All are perfect for elf “fixing or building” things around the house.

Spirograph Drawing Set: I had one of these as a kid and loved it. Have your elf leave a message or drawing for the kids and then leave this fun toy behind.

Mini Hair Tools and Mini Sewing Machine: Um, how cute are these? They do have a battery compartment and should light up or make noise too. I found a mini hairdryer and a mini sewing machine. So cute!

Crossbow toys: I know my kiddos are going to be excited to receive these crossbow toys from their elves. It came in two colors and was great quality.

Mini Dirt Bikes: These little dirt bikes are perfect for that motocross elf. They are the perfect size for elf on the shelf and come in a few different colors.

Next time you’re at Dollar Tree, keep these items in mind. These are a fun way to add to your elf antics this holiday season.
